REACH summer mission trip
We’ll be partnering with Urban Connections to do ministry for the week of June 7 through June 13. We’ll stay at the Ministry House on Fairwood Avenue and use that as a base for all of the service opportunities.
During the week, we have plans to lead a Vacation Bible School for local kids, renovate a sunroom in the ministry house that has been badly water-damaged, and potentially do cooperative work with a local elementary school and church.
Your involvement is important because you’ll be allowing yourself to be used by God. You don’t need to come with great construction skills, you don’t need the gift of working with kids, you simply need to come with an open heart… one that can be used by God. Mission trips aren’t glamorous—but they are life-changing. You’ll not only see lives changed around you, but very likely, you’ll also see your own life impacted and changed for the better.
