This class is for single and married adults. The lesson material we use is the Judson Bible Series “Journeys” and is based on the International Sunday School Lessons for Christian Teaching. Each quarter there is a new theme and the Biblical basis and objectives of the lessons are listed in the student books. The class time is focused on Biblical background and a time of applying the scriptures to Christian lives. The format is based on student participation and discussion.

Disciples

Led by Jeremy and Carly Adams
We meet on Thursdays at 7p.m. at the home of Jeremy and Carly Adams in Hilliard for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. We get together regularly for fellowship activities and we participate in several service activities during the year. Our group consists of young couples in their 20s and 30s, some with young families, some without.

FaithBuilders

Led by Scott and Leatha Houk
The FaithBuilders class consists of mostly married 30 to 50 somethings with young families. Utilizing a read and discuss platform, we are currently studying the Apostle Paul’s writings on how we are to serve other Christians and what our social responsibility is to our fellow believers. We also enjoy sharing our prayer concerns with each other and spend time in group prayer weekly.

Foundations

Led by Russ & Monica Canestraro
This is a 16 week class that discusses how Christianity differs from other religions, the historical accuracy and reliability of the New Testament, essentials of salvation, basic elements of the Christian life and how to study your Bible.

Kupplers

Led by Bill Cleverley
We use a variety of class materials from books such as Rick Warren’s Purpose Driven Life to the International Sunday School Series. We recently completed the Through the Bible in a Year series. The teaching material is always related to specific Bible study. As a class we seek to involve all members in discussion with the objective of improving our collective walk with the Lord. Monthly social activities are planned to foster class fellowship. Our class has been involved with the homeless program at Shiloh Baptist Church for 10 years and serves lunch to the homeless once a month.

Questians

Led by Charlie Jones
Mostly seniors sitting under the teaching for a gifted Bible teacher; a book by book study of scripture done in a lecture format.

Young Couples

Led by Mark and Tamara Engle
We are currently studying out of a Serendipity House book entitled Intentional Choices. This is a study of how we, as Christians, should deal with stress and anxiety and how through it all we can allow Christ’s light to shine. We are titled as a couple’s class, but are more than happy to have non-couple’s in our class eager to learn more about how to live a life that reflects Christ’s love.

Young Professionals

Led by Jamie Cleverley
