In this busy day and age we know that women need hope. It is the mission of the Women’s Ministry Team to encourage women to receive the Holy Spirit’s guidance and to offer themselves as living sacrifices to Jesus Christ. We want to help women prepare their minds for God’s service and then to share the good news with others.
We pray for you “…that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him” (Ephesians 1:17).
“We urge you, brethren, admonish the unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with everyone.” (1 Thessalonians 5:14)
“To offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, that is your spiritual act of worship.” (Romans 12:1)
“Prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 1:13)
“Jesus said to them again, ‘Peace be with you; as the Father has sent Me, I also send you’” (John 20:21)

Women’s aerobics program for women is offered three mornings a week at Mountview. We meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30–9:45am. The class provides a great opportunity for fellowship, spiritual support and encouragement, and exercise! After sharing prayer concerns, we pray, then do an hour of aerobic exercise to contemporary Christian songs. The first half-hour has lots of movement, to raise our heart rates, and in the last half-hour we use weights and do specific exercises to build up our muscles. Class fees are $4 per drop-in, $56 for two classes per week, and $72 for three classes per week. Sessions run for 8 weeks, throughout the year. If interested, or for more information, contact Sally Ewan at 487.8156.
