The Finance team’s purpose is:

  • To oversee the financial health of Mountview Baptist Church and to serve as an information source to its staff, members and attendees.
  • Financial record keeping service
  • Stewardship ministry and education

Stewardship ministry

The Stewardship ministry’s purpose is to enhance the relationship of the members and attendees of Mountview Baptist Church with Jesus Christ through the discipline of financial stewardship.

Objectives:

  • To provide the financing for the ministries and mission of Mountview Baptist Church.
  • To increase the percentage of members and attendees of Mountview Baptist Church who meet a minimum tithe of their income to this local church.
  • To provide education and resources that will enable members and attendees of Mountview Baptist Church to better manage the financial resources that God has granted them to enable them to become better stewards of God’s financial gifts.
  • To communicate frequently and effectively the financial needs of Mountview Baptist Church to its members and attendees.
