Worship
One of the highlights of our week is the opportunity to gather together for worship on Sunday mornings where we sing, pray, laugh, learn, and praise God together. We set this time aside each week as a way to show God just how much we love Him and how thankful we are for His ongoing power and presence in our lives. We do not come together out of a sense of obligation; we gather because we recognize that God is worthy of our praise. With joyful hearts and willing spirits, we come before our Heavenly Father, the author of our lives and the audience of our worship.
9am traditional worship
Our traditional worship service happens at 9am every Sunday. Our chancel choir leads us in worship and, in addition to leading congregational singing, also sings a weekly anthem. We pray together, read our Bibles together, and commit to growing in our spiritual lives together as the family of God. The message each week is presented by one of our pastors and is biblically-based, teaches us God’s expectations for our lives, and challenges us to become more faithful disciples of Christ.
11am contemporary worship
Our contemporary worship service happens every Sunday at 11am. Our worship team leads our time of praise by singing choruses and hymns accompanied by electric and acoustic instruments. We also use multimedia to enhance the worship experience. Our pastoral staff brings the same message as in the 9am service so that we are learning and growing together as one church. The message is biblically-based, teaches us God’s expectations for our lives, and challenges us to become more faithful disciples of Christ.
What to expect when I come
Don’t worry about what you wear or where to go. We dress casual and we will greet you when you hit the door, help instruct you or your family on where to go, and we will help you get there. We will care for you, your kids, your dog (just kidding, as this is a program we have yet to develop) and take the opportunity to get to know you and provide you with the opportunity to get to know us.
